Appointment of Deputy Mayor
 

THAT Councillor Froese be appointed Deputy Mayor for the ensuing two (2) months effective January 1, 2020 to February 29, 2020 and/or until a successor is appointed.

Appointment of Chairperson - Executive Committee
 

THAT Councillor Luhning be appointed Chairperson of the Executive Committee for the ensuing two (2) months effective January 1, 2020 to February 29, 2020 and/or until a successor is appointed.

THAT Councillor McMann be appointed Chairperson of the Personnel Committee for the ensuing two (2) months effective January 1, 2020 to February 29, 2020 and/or until a successor is appointed.

Tabled Motion: Amendments to Bylaw No. 4713 (Mayor Tolmie)
 

THAT City Administration be directed to provide a report on how the following principles can be incorporated into Bylaw No. 4713, A Bylaw of the City of Moose Jaw to Establish a Board of Police Commissioners:

1. The Chief of Police shall be the Chief Administrative Officer of the Police Service and shall be directly responsible only to the Board for the discharge of the powers, duties and authority conferred upon them.

2. The City shall continue to provide services to the Board upon such terms and conditions as are agreed upon between the Board and Council.

Yield Sign Turning West from Langdon Crescent (Coun. Froese)
 

THAT the yield sign turning west from Langdon Crescent onto Fairford Street East be changed to a stop sign.

Yield Sign Turning East from Langdon Crescent (Coun. Froese)
 

THAT the yield sign turning east from Langdon Crescent onto Athabasca Street East be changed to a stop sign; and

THAT curbcutting or other appropriate methods be used to improve the crosswalk safety and accessibility.

Enhanced Directional Signage on North Service Road (Coun. Froese)
 

THAT enhanced directional signage be placed on the North Service Road before and after 9th Avenue North West and Highway #1 intersection; and

THAT they indicate the distance to merge.
